Photography Locations

Abyss Art spends around 40 days a year taking underwater pictures, of which 25 are spent in the Archipelago Sea and the rest under pack and fast ice, in lakes or around shipwrecks on the Finnish coast. Finland's most diverse and colourful marine ecosystems can be found in the southern reaches of the Archipelago Sea. Our coast is home to fine shipwrecks. The best lakes, often spring-fed, have clear water. Abyss Art's most important photography locations are marked on the enclosed map.
